Contest Saturday Sept 28 at 5:30 p.m. on the Marshall Hall stage
One entry per person per contest. All contestants MUST fill out and submit an entry form.
All Cosplay entrants must have a ticket to the event in order to participate.
All participants must pre-register in advance to participate. Registration forms available on line and at Len’s Mill stores. Please bring registration form with you. Registration deadline is 2:30 p.m. Saturday September 28. Please submit forms before that time to the Tri-City Super Con store.
No nudity. Costumes must be family appropriate. All props must be inspected by a member of our staff. No real weaponry, sharp blades etc. are allowed. No projectile weapons such as nerf guns, silly string or water pistols
Costumes will be judged on originality, resemblance to character being portrayed and craftsmanship. Workmanship category must be at least 75% made by you, the Cosplay contestant.
This is an open genre costume contest.
Craftsmanship: how the entrant made their costume, use of materials and creativity.
Likeness and detail: how close the entrant resembles the character(s) they are cosplaying as well as detail work on the costume.
All entries are strongly encouraged to bring reference material for their costume(s). While we will not turn away entries that do not bring reference material, it is very helpful!
Not all judges know all characters, so reference material is in everyone’s best interest
· Cosplays can be store‐bought, commissioned, or made by the contestant.
· A parent or guardian must accompany all contestants in the Children’s categories for both the pre‐judging and the Cosplay Contest presentation.
All decisions made by the judges are final. All prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the contest.
